For chairs and facilitators of owner peer boards

Every member's numbers, not every member's story.

Your members already have a plan and a set of goals. What most of them do not have is the weekly numbers underneath, collected and chased without them. Steward does that — and, if a member chooses, shows you a board view of whose numbers are actually moving.

At a glance

  • The Monday Audit gives every member a comparable score in ten minutes, in their own browser, from their own answers. No benchmark, no data sent anywhere.
  • It re-runs each quarter, so you can show movement rather than ask about it.
  • Steward then gives a member's numbers an owner, a source and a schedule — and chases the person who owes one, so the member stops doing it.
  • With the member's explicit, revocable consent, you get a read-only board view: each member's Monday Score, scorecard status and how much still needs them.
  • It costs the chair nothing. Members are pilot clients of GrowthLift on their own terms.

Why a board is where this belongs

A chair's month rests on two things: whether the meeting is substantive, and whether members can see themselves progressing. Both depend on numbers, and numbers are the thing owners bring least reliably. The planning and goal-setting tools a board already uses track progress as the member reports it. That is the right place for the goals. It is a poor place for the weekly figures underneath them, because the member is the one supplying the figures and the member is the bottleneck.

Steward sits beneath the plan, not beside it. The goals stay where they are. The numbers under each goal are pulled from the member's systems on schedule, or asked for from the right person in their business with reminders and an escalation, and shown with their source. Progress comes from real numbers rather than self-reported status. That is what makes the board view worth looking at.

Start with the Monday Audit, at the next meeting

Ask every member to run it before they arrive and bring the printout. It asks, for the eight to twelve numbers they run the business on: who owns it, where it comes from, how often it is late, who chases it, and whether it would stop if they were away for a fortnight. Then two questions about their week: hours spent chasing figures, and decisions that reached them that did not need to.

The score is four parts of twenty-five — ownership, source, reliability, independence — and the working is printed underneath it. Because it is built the same way for everyone, a board can compare scores without anybody's data leaving their laptop. The three findings under the score are usually the most useful twenty minutes of the meeting, because they are written from the member's own answers and nobody in the room can argue with them.

The board view

For members who go on to run Steward, you can be given a read-only view across your board. It shows, per member: the Monday Score and its movement since the last quarter; the scorecard status — how many of their numbers are on track, at risk or off track this week; how many numbers are collected by a system rather than a person; and the size of their “needs you” queue. It does not show the underlying figures unless the member has chosen to share them with you.

The board view is a pilot feature. It is being built with the first boards rather than ahead of them. [STEVE TO CONFIRM availability and timing]

What it costs

Nothing to the chair or the board. A member who wants Steward takes it on the same published terms as anyone else: £727 a month for the business on a twelve-month minimum, plus £1,200 set-up, with no per-seat charge, no metered agent runs, and assurance and support included for as long as they subscribe. There is no referral fee to the chair: a member who goes ahead is GrowthLift's client and the chair's member, and nothing changes hands between us for the introduction.

Straight answers

Questions from chairs.

Is this a competitor to the tools my members already use?

No. Planning and goal-tracking tools hold the goals and the plan, and they should. Steward collects the weekly numbers underneath those goals from the member's own systems and people, and chases the ones that are late. The goals do not move; the numbers under them start arriving on time.

What does the chair actually see?

With a member's consent: their Monday Score and its movement, how many of their numbers are on track, at risk or off track, how many are collected by a system rather than a person, and how large their approval queue is. Not the figures themselves, unless the member has chosen to share those too. Nothing at all for a member who has not consented.

Can a member opt out, or change their mind?

Yes, at any time, and it takes effect the same day. Consent is recorded in the member's own Assurance Dossier so there is a clear record of who could see what and when.

Does the Monday Audit send anything to GrowthLift?

No. It runs entirely in the member's browser. There are no cookies and no tracking on the page and it asks for no address. The only way a result leaves the member's laptop is if they print it or choose to share it.

Is it ISO 42001 certified?

No. Steward agents are designed in conformance with ISO/IEC 42001 and structured against AIUC-1. No certification is claimed and no certificate has been issued. We will say so the day that changes, and not before.

How do I start?

Book a twenty-minute call. We will walk through the Monday Audit together, and if it suits your board, agree how to run it at your next meeting. There is nothing to sign and nothing to install to do that.

Run it with your board.

Twenty minutes to set it up. One meeting later, every member has a score, three findings, and a baseline to move.
